These last few months of social distancing and quarantine have been difficult for everyone. Even now as things are starting to open back up the lack of structure and being able to establish a regular routine has been challenging on a good day.
Last Wednesday I decided to head over to Red Top Mountain with the camera and set up the tripod to shoot a new series of self-expression portraits. Had some images that were stuck in my head and needed to get them out. Took over 250 and managed to whittle them down to around 85 after the initial edits. Friday I started working on actually processing them and excited with the results so far. It's a slow process but worth the time and effort in the end.
One of the nice things is I now have a project I can focus my energy on which tends to help when going through the rough patches.
